When
the BB cream craze started only the Korean brands are competing against each
other on which is best then after a while all the other cosmetic brands
started following the trend but didn’t really fly. For a time I did use BB
creams but it’s not my go to makeup everyday mainly because it may or may not
break me out depending on how my skin reacts that day. And also because when BB creams
started most of the brands only have one shade so when you apply it on your
face, it gives you that gray cast and you have to wait for it to oxidize before
you can see the product blending in to your natural face color. For some people
it’s not really ideal so after the craze mellowed down, I also stopped using and exploring BB creams.
I felt that it’s not really for my skin and I’m just forcing it because it’s
the "in thing" back then. However, most Korean brands didn’t stop when the BB
craze mellowed down. They even came out with this new innovation called BB cushion.
I
didn’t really know about this until I visited Sephora and wanted to buy an
alternative liquid foundation. One of the Beauty consultants in the store
introduced me to this. She swatches the product at the back of my hand and I
was immediately impressed. It’s exactly the texture and feel that I was looking
for in a liquid foundation! But since it was very expensive I didn’t bought it
right away and after doing some research on the product I came across this good deal
in Qoo10 website and bought it right away.
Actually
the one I purchased was a refill. Stupid me! I didn’t read the item carefully!
I was a bit disappointed at first ‘cause I was thinking “How am I supposed to
use this without the sponge?” But thankfully the refill comes with a sponge and
since I just wanted to try out the product first I didn’t really bother having
the case anymore.
After
trying it out I was impressed on how it turned out on my face. It’s actually an improved version of the previous BB creams! It has that
foundation finish and gives you that dewy looking skin. Some people don’t like
the dewy look on the face because they say that it looks oily but for me I love
it! It gives your face that natural look that doesn’t seem to have any make up
on which I guess most girls prefer. It has a lot of shades that you can choose
from True Beige, Pink Beige, Natural Beige, and Sand Beige.
I am
sold to this new makeup find! The only problem now is that I'm torn because I also love my Bare
Minerals foundation. (This is a problem of a makeup addict)
I
highly recommend this product! It’s an all-purpose product which all girls
are looking for! Light on the face but covers all the right spots you want hidden.
